Ocular Arcade is a visual arts studio that specializes in digital collage art, illustration, print, web development, drone operated videography, and conceptual art.

​As a visual arts studio, our mission is to challenge societal norms rooted in constructs and inspire critical thinking to foster a more mindful future. Through visual art, we seek to deconstruct these constructs and promote awareness and growth.

 

Constructs, by definition, are frameworks based on subjective, conceptual ideas rather than empirical evidence. Their subjective nature often leads to marginalization and stigmatization, particularly when applied to groups or populations. Examples of such constructs include: gender, sexual orientation, time, racism, and supremacy, among others.

 

Observation has revealed a strong correlation between the Mental Health of an individual and their submission to negatively charged constructs. When a construct conflicts with a person’s intrinsic values, it can result in a disconnect from perceived reality, can fuel an identity crisis, lead to social stigmatization, stress, or depression.

 

By deconstructing constructs, we encourage free thought and the celebration of individuality, fostering greater alignment with one’s intrinsic self. Eliminating constructs lays the foundation for a future rooted in acceptance, equality, equity, and understanding.​​​
